FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

Fashion

Pale Pink
Balenciaga ClassicNot being a girly girl, I have never been a massive fan of wearing pink. However, I love all the pastel shades that are going to be big this summer. I love a statement piece and this pink Balenciaga is bang on trend. I have been known to plan my outfits around my handbag and this would look perfect with a casual denim shorts and tee. I can not wait for summer outfits again… I best get saving my pennies! Pink is the new black this summer. Do you love it or hate it?

Crop Tops
TopshopI have always been a fan of a crop top, growing up in the 90’s they were all the rage. I would wear mine with high waisted jeans, shorts or sometimes even a mini skirt. As You get older though you realise that you can’t really get away with showing so much skin anymore! I’m going to dare to bare this summer, but I think I’ll go for a more conservative shape. I really like this long sleeved jewelled top by Jaded London as it gives that cropped finish, but with that little bit more coverage. Phew! Get working those abs ladies, it looks like we’ll all have them on show pretty soon.

Denim
MIH Jeans DressDenim is around in every season without fail. Whether it be jeans, shorts, skirts, shirts or jackets. It is here to stay. You can’t beat a comfy pair jeans as your fail safe staple. It is my go to every year without fail. This year we are going to see even more denim than before… crop tops, dresses, bags and shoes! You name it. I’m loving this two tone denim dress with zip detail, super cool without making any real effort. Just throw on a pair of ankle boots and your ready to roll. My kind of dressing!

Beauty

Madagascan Vanilla Flower Perfume Oil
Vanilla OilI bought some of this vanilla oil around Christmas time, I fell in love with it because it smells very similar to Dior Hypnotic Poison but is a fraction of the cost at £7 for 15ml bottle. You only need to apply a couple of drops and the scent will last all day. I have had so many compliments while wearing this, but I am not surprised as it smells so lovely. Money well spent I’d say, I can see me purchasing this again and again.

Givenchy Photo Perfexion Foundation
Photoperfexion.jpgI have read/watched so many reviews on this foundation that I just had to try it for myself. I put off buying it for a while as it expensive (25ml cost £31), however I have had my bottle for a few months now and there is still loads left. After hearing how brilliant it was, I was hoping that I would also be blown away by the result and I was not disappointed. This foundation is amazing, its transforms my uneven skin tone and makes it look flawless. The best thing is I don’t look or feel like I’m wearing any makeup either. The packaging is also lovely and I feel like I’m being treated to a little bit of luxury every time I use it. It is available in 6 shades so its important to get the right shade for your skin tone. I would therefore recommend asking for expert advise at the counter before you buy. I don’t usually buy a lot of high end makeup but I absolutely love this, it never lets me down!

Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat- Tweedy
Sally Hansen Fuzzy CoatFebruary and March are usually the last months of year that I tend to wear monochrome shades. I love this fuzzy finish polish from Sally Hansen. It’s great if you’re in a rush too, its edgy uneven finish means that if you smudge its no big deal. The end result looks great! The only thing I will say is that its quite difficult to take off, so a little patience is needed. Check out my instagram for pics. You can buy this for £6.99 from Boots.

Hope you’re all having a great week so far xx
