Meat Liquor

I have heard a lot of people talking about Meat Liquor recently and obviously wanted to check it out for myself. As you have probably gathered by now.. I eat out quite a lot, so I’m always looking for new places to try out! It looks like a dingy club from the outside and not much signage apart from some pieces of paper gaffer taped to the walls and a huge neon liquor sign (pretty cool eh).

I instantly loved the vibe and atmosphere as I entered, but it took my eyes some time to adjust to the dark and moody decor. We were professionally offered a cocktail at the bar while we waited a few minutes for our table. We went for a Summer of Love and a Silver Angel. Decent, good looking cocktails and reasonably priced (for London) at £7.50.

We were casually shown to our table and ordered our food. We enjoyed checking out the hand drawn art work while we waited for our bingo wings, mushroom swiss burger and hot fries to arrive. They arrived on a tray, no cutlery or plates involved, just a kitchen roll provided. Oh my god! these were the best chicken wings I have ever had (I’ve had quite a few in my time). Totally crispy and covered in hot and spicy sauce. The burger was also packed full of flavour. Yum yum!

After our food we ordered another cocktail and took in some more of the cool atmosphere. I will definately be returning soon.

Have you been to Meat Liquor? How was your experience? xx

  • Hey superb website! Does running a blog similar to this take a large amount
of work? I have virtually no knowledge of coding however I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.

Anyway, should you have any recommendations or techniques for new
blog owners please share. I understand this is off subject
nevertheless I just wanted to ask. Thank you!
