How cool do these bad boys look? Pretty damn awesome I’d say. I was praying that they were as good as the beautiful, 50s inspired packaging suggested. My Favourite ever hand and foot creams are from Soap & Glory, so I had very high expectations. Lets just say they didn’t let me down.
Kiss Ass Concealer
I tried this out for the first time when I was getting ready for my anniversary meal at Darwin Brasserie (read full story here). I had woken up that morning with a huge spot (typical eh!) so I needed all the help I could get to conceal the flippin’ thing, as well as cover my lovely dark circles from not enough sleep. This 3 piece kit includes an under eye brightening concealer, complexion concealer and a transparent setting powder. I chose the light shades which worked very well with my skin tone and I used a combination of all 3 under my eyes and on my dreaded spot. The results were great, perfectly concealed blemishes that lasted all day. This even gives my beloved YSL Touche Eclat a run for its money. I would highly recommend.
Supercat Fat Eyeliner
Now I must make a confession and tell you that I’m a bit of a black eyeliner addict. I have been ever since I was about 13, I’m positive that my best friend and I used to share a black pencil eyeliner, which we used until we couldn’t sharpen it any more. That’s what I call getting your pocket monies worth! Needless to say when I saw this Supercat Fat Liner I was very excited. Of course I loved the packaging and the chunky feel is right up my street. Even with the thick nib you can still achieve very precise lines. I love the felt tip applicator for seemless colour distribution across the lid, it is very easy to use. The carbon black colour is ace and makes it great for the perfect cat eye finish. I will be using this everyday from now on and will definitely be repurchasing soon.
Thick & Fast Mascara
This mascara is very good, it has a giant brush which I love and glides on great. At first I thought it may make my lashes clump together as there is a lot of product on the brush, but this didn’t happen at all. It’s fab for everyday use, but for a night out when I want my lashes to have a more dramatic look I have to apply many coats to achieve this. This is the only downside I can think of though. It takes a little bit longer but you can’t argue with the long, separated and voluminous lashes it creates. Glad I found this one!
I bought mine during a 3 for 2 offer at boots and you can also find more information on the Soap & Glory website – links below.
